The Bible has been very much an open book at the Boyle and Petyt School over the past few weeks. The school has had close links with Bolton Priory since the seventeenth century (when it was founded in what is now the Rectory!); and nearly twenty students from across the school have been maintaining those links this term at an after-school club run by Rita Bennett, one of the Priory congregation. In a special assembly yesterday they shared with parents and fellow pupils some of the links they had explored between the Lord’s Prayer and stories in the Bible. Each student who had participated received a Bible or book of bible stories.
